About Us

We're a team of coaches and hybrid athletes publishing data-driven training content built on real coaching experience, not theory.

Runnit.co is a training resource. We publish programming, mobility work, and nutrition guidance for hybrid athletes, people balancing strength and endurance instead of picking one, so you can build a serious training plan without setting foot in a facility.

Our Story

Runnit.co started with a simple idea: most training content forces you to choose between building strength and building an engine. We built this platform to give hybrid athletes, people training for both, one place with programming, mobility work, and nutrition guidance that treats strength and endurance as the same problem, not two separate ones.

Our Expertise

Every guide on Runnit.co passes through people who actually coach and train this way, not writers repurposing someone else's workout. Our contributors draw on backgrounds in strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and endurance physiology, and each piece is checked against current research before it goes live and revisited when the evidence, or our own results, changes. That's the standard we hold: if a protocol doesn't hold up under real training loads, it doesn't stay on the site.

Global Perspective

Hybrid training isn't tied to one gym, one country, or one training culture, and neither are we. Our readers train in commercial gyms, home setups, and hotel rooms across dozens of countries, working toward everything from a first 5K to Hyrox and Crossfit competition. We draw on research and coaching methods from across the sports science world rather than a single regional tradition, because the physiology of building strength and endurance together doesn't change at the border.

Contributor Invitation

We're always open to hearing from coaches, sports scientists, physical therapists, and experienced hybrid athletes who have something genuinely useful to add. If you've got a training method, a piece of research, or a recovery protocol worth sharing with a serious audience, reach out. We'd rather publish one well-tested idea from a practitioner than ten generic posts, and every contribution gets reviewed against the same standard as our own content before it goes live.

Building strength, endurance, or a better relationship with training is hard, and it looks different for everyone. We write for beginners and competitive athletes alike, for people training around injuries, busy schedules, or just starting to believe they can do this, because becoming your best self doesn't belong to any one type of athlete.

Meet Our Trainers

Savannah kestrel

Savannah writes about the side of training most lifters skip: conditioning, pacing, and building an engine that can actually keep up with your strength work. She tests every format in her own training before writing about it, so what ends up on the page is what actually held up under a hard pace, not just what sounds good in theory.

Valerie vance

Valerie writes about strength: progressive overload and building raw power without wrecking your ability to run or condition. She tests every progression herself before it goes on the page. She'd rather you build strength that lasts than a number that looks good for one session.

Chloe Mercer

Chloe writes about mobility and movement: thoracic mobility, joint health, and the mechanics that let you train hard without breaking down. She works through every drill herself before writing it up, focused on what actually holds up under a barbell, not just what looks right in isolation.

Maya Linwood

Maya writes about combining strength and endurance training without either one dragging the other down. She builds and runs her own concurrent programming before writing about it, so the frameworks come from what actually worked in practice, not just what fits neatly on paper.

Evidence Over Trends: Everything we publish is tested and checked against current research before it goes up, and revised when either changes.

Real-World Expertise: Written by people who actually coach and train this way, not writers repackaging someone else's workout.

Training Without Barriers: No facility, no specific body type, no head start required. We write for wherever you're starting from.

Global Perspective: Coaching methods and research pulled from across the sports science world, not one gym or one region.

Open to New Voices We publish outside contributions from coaches and practitioners with something genuinely useful to say.
